ENC® is a natural extract obtained from chestnut wood (Castanea sativa) suitable for monogastrics such as poultry, rabbits and pigs.

ENC® is an extract rich in high quality polyphenols, known for their astringent properties as reported in several studies. Polyphenols, through the mechanism of adhesion to the intestinal wall, create a protective barrier that slows down the intestinal peristalsis. It was also shown that polyphenols have anti-diarrheal properties and, in some cases, they can reduce the mortality rate of animals.

ENC® promotes the digestive process, improves the faeces quality, strengthens the body’s natural defences against pathogens and protects and promotes the development of a balanced intestinal microflora without the harmful effects due to the use of antibiotics.

0.5% one week before weaning and 2 weeks after weaning.
0.3% during fattening
