Astringent effect and regulation of the intestinal microflora

ENC^® and NutriQ^® are botanical extracts mainly used in the diet of monogastrics (poultry, pigs, rabbits and game).

ENC^® is extracted from chestnut wood (Castanea sativa), with high antioxidant properties and its effects have been demonstrated “in vitro” tests on a broad spectrum of pathogenic bacteria. It also shows a good astringency. ENC^® is used in the diet of monogastrics to reduce diarrhoea and to regulate the intestinal microflora.

NutriQ^® is an extract made from selected polyphenols especially developed for use with poultry. “In vitro” tests have shown greater effectiveness of NutriQ^® against specific pathogens. NutriQ^® is used even when an astringency effect is required.
